Help for Ukraine

The Grunt od Nowa Foundation was established for a different purpose, but the consequences of the brutal war meant that we gave it a more important cause, systemic assistance to Ukrainian refugees who came to us.

Our activities were focused on people staying at the help point at Wołoska 7 in Warsaw, intended for Ukrainian women with children, and those who wanted to start professional activity as soon as possible.

We supported Ukrainian refugees in becoming independent and undertaking professional activities.

We supported people who wanted to stand on their own feet, find a job and take, at least partially, financial responsibility for themselves and their children. Those who came to us lived a normal life, like all of us, but they lost it and in the end, they had practically nothing.

Through the activities of the foundation, many of their current needs have been met.

Thanks to the help from our wonderful donors, we were able to support the center in Wołoska in the following way:

    • Provide kitchen equipment that keeps the food served warm for longer.
    • Retrofitting the bathrooms so that our residents can maintain a minimum of intimacy during the daily toilet.
    • Provide materials for making aesthetic cork boards so that no one misses important announcements related to the news at Wołoska 7.
    • Brighten up the birthday days of our younger charges with delicacies (pizza, ice cream).
    • Equip clothes and food warehouses with professional shelving.
    • Regularly supplement food rations with healthy snacks, fruit, and yoghurts.
    • Purchase meals for our preschoolers.

And:

Purchase of 400 pairs of new spring shoes, which, thanks to the generosity of CCC company, we were able to purchase with a huge discount.

Prepare and purchase the first edition of the Polish language course for 20 doctors and nurses and the next edition for the most active ones. After completing the course, they joined the ranks of doctors and nurses in our outpatient clinics and hospitals.
