Agnieszka Bednarek

Doctor of natural sciences, specialist in ecological education, ecohydrological biotechnologies, and reclamation of catchment areas of agricultural areas. For years she has been associated with the University of Łódź, the UNESCO Chair of Ecohydrology of Applied Ecology, and the European Regional Center for Ecohydrology of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Łódź.

Since 2008, she has been implementing projects concerning the optimization of biotechnological denitrification processes at the catchment scale to reduce the nitrogen load flowing to ground and surface waters. However, since 2014, she has been working with companies to implement solutions to improve the quality of ground and surface waters.

Privately, a mother, a lover of kizomba and Cuban salsa, and a yogi. In the warm season, she loves trekking and cycling in the cold season – skiing. She prefers to rest in silence among the sounds of nature.
